Case Study:
Marketing Agency - Multiple Positions & HR Consulting

The Client

A full-service marketing agency founded in 2020 focused on higher education and non-profit organizations. Start-up with 4 original members scaled to 12 FTE’s and growing.

The Challenge

As a start-up the organization was growing rapidly with tight financial constraints yet needed to add depth of professional staff to respond to business needs.  Due to their niche, the profiles of candidates required higher education digital marketing experience at a reasonable salary during a high demand period for digital marketing professionals. Additionally, the client had HR infrastructure and program development needs.

The Strategy

RTB & Associates partnered with the co-founders to develop and define the targeted profile to meet the unique requirements of viable candidates.  In parallel RTB leverage their in-house HR executive leadership experience to partner with the client to fill out gaps in HR programs. Candidates were required to have 2+ years of experience with media buying experience in a higher education organization or work with an agency contracted with higher education.  We developed an ongoing campaign of sourcing candidates and prompt feedback loops from the client to the candidate.  Position focus was Digital Strategists, Media Buyers, Content writers and Web producers.

The Result

RTB & Associates ongoing engagement with the client resulted in two Digital Strategist, one writer, one Media Buyer and final stages of a Web Producer hire. One of the candidates has been promoted in the past 12 months.  RTB continues partnering with this client helping them strategically scale. Along with ad-hoc HR consulting.
